A Childs Year Font

Can I just say that I love the font on this new cartridge!? It's too cute...I can't wait to use it some more! For this LO I used DCWV Doodlin Around paper, my Christmas Solutions cart for the snowflakes, and misc skittles. I love this photo of my son, he was only 3 months old here, I wish I could keep him that age forever!

Our Trip to the Toledo Zoo

My bff lent me her Animal Kingdom cartridge, and while I do love it to peices, I can only imagine using it for layouts like these. I also used my Plantin Schoolbook and Mickey Font cartridges for this, and some vellum I found stashed away. Did a lot of inking on the letters and the elephant, and I used the Animal Crackers stack from DCWV.

A Simply Sweet Picture Frame

I bought this wooden frame at M's for $1, slapped on some paper, some flowers I had laying around, a little bit of Stickles, and used my Simply Sweet cart for the words. This is my son and my bff's little girl when they were babies...they're such good friends. These make awesome gifts!

Hello Kitty!

Hi everyone!! I made this last night for my bff's little girl, she's turning 4 next weekend. I used the HK card feature, cut at 7", then just cut a regular HK at 7", (the card feature alone just didn't look right..it didn't fit) and then used the silhouette for the black. Purple glitter paper for the bow, nose, and heart. To make the card heavier, I then cut another HK and glued to the back. Sorry for all the babbling, it's hard to explain!!! TFL!

San Francisco

This is from our trip to California last summer, I've really been wanting to scrap this for some time now. Finally late Friday night I sat down to do it, and wouldn't ya know it, I was dead tired and the creative juices just weren't flowing. So here it is, my forst of many LO's of our trip. I used PS and my Potpourri cart for this one, misc stickers. I want to go back to SF soon, it's a beautiful city with tons to do!

It's a SpongeBob Birthday!!!!

Here it is!! I've worked on this all weekend, and I can't be happier with it. I just can't wait for my lil guy to see it! Carts I used: SB, HK Greetings, and PS. Every gift has a different character, and in the front is a tin I altered. I also used misc papers, stickles, and brads.

Next weekend we're celebrating my son's 5th birthday, so I wanted to make him an extra special card. I used my new DCWV Doodlin Around stack, HK Greetings, Plantin Schoolbook, and an old SU Star punch. I have more in store for him, I'll post once I finish it!

It ain't easy being green!

I did it, I finally got up the nerve to paint my E!!! I wanted it to be the true Cricut Green, and match my Cuttlebug, I think it turned out nice. Now comes the really fun part; decorating and blinging it out. Still haven't decided just what I'm going to do, but I'll post pics once I figure it out!
